Referring to table 3, it appears that the total-item correlations range between -4.79 to .659. The total-item correlations are not expected to be negative and to be at least 0.20 or higher. The items with the correlation of 0.30 and above distinguishes individuals better. Accordingly, the total-item correlation values of item a2, b1, b2, b5, b9 and b10 were reported to be less than .20. Hence, these items need to be reviewed and may need to be removed from the scale.
