As we can see from the above text, that the pre-socratic philosophy had grown a lot and had grown in the right direction. The milesians and the Eleatics had proposed wierd theories, whereas the later ones- Pythagoras and Atomists proposed theories which are very close to the studies and beliefs that we have in the modern day world.

We can easily say that the Pre-socratic philosophers though way ahead of their time and that there first principles are a motivation for all the scientific and philosophic work that is happening today.
