lyrics, we agreed that the whole conspiracy was a marketing ploy developed by the band in a way to sell more records. In 1969, when the conspiracy was discovered by the public, album sales skyrocketed, so in a way, our solution is correct.
In order to prove that the original Paul is alive, or dead, there would need to be extensive research done into forensics, DNA, and generally personal information at the time of his ‘death’.
The group’s consensus was that Paul is actually alive, but the band inserted clues in their albums, as well as backwards messages as a marketing scheme to sell more albums. This solution was in agreement with my personal solution.
There were a few differences in ideas. For example, my perspective was open to influence. Even though I had the most prior knowledge to the conspiracy, I had still not fully researched it and thought there may have been a chance for confirmation. On the other hand, my group mate, Andrew, was not open to change his perspective and was dead set on his belief that Paul is still alive. End of story. The rest of my group mate’s minds were malleable to change of opinion.
As per work ethic, all of our group successfully worked together, efficiently creating a unique presentation that displayed our standpoint, and our solution to the conspiracy. To effectively manage time, our group split up the work into six sections, including the conspiracy, the clues, our standpoint, etc…
I know that personally, this project made me look at the conspiracy with a much more keen eye. In the beginning, I was sure that Paul was not dead, but as I began researching, I realized that there was a possibility. I eventually reached the conclusion that without further evidence, the only explanation that I could fully back was the marketing ploy. It is the only solution that fully explains all of the clues, and backmasked songs, and their purpose.
