Those who struggle with anger towards people who drive under the speed limit in the left lane should have a change of heart and open their minds to take advantage of this opportunity for relaxation by seeking counseling and possible anger management classes. By overcoming this grievance, the individual will succeed in creating a healthier life for themselves by replacing unwanted and uncalled for stress with much needed time to destress. I have such a strong belief in this change of thought and action that I will apply it in my own life, so that others may be influenced to apply what I have learned to themselves. “Have patience: Losing your cool won't help. Stay your course for a minute and see if a slow driver will spot you and move over” (Esurance, 2016). Instead of being selfish and annoyed by these slow drivers, I should be thankful for this time in traffic and use it as time to unwind, be alone, and enjoy listening to music.

It is ultimately in the hands of those sitting at the wheel to make a conscious choice to enjoy the time spent in their vehicle versus being selfish and becoming aggravated by those in their path. Having patience and selflessness as an individual when faced with a slow driver will change that person’s life significantly. It might catch on when someone sees that they will can plan ahead to destress, be healthful, and relaxed in your car before arriving at your destination. A driver’s state of mind requires clear thought processes that help you navigate along the path from one place to another and ultimately provide the ability to be a good decision maker. Accidents and senseless deaths will be avoided if we plan ahead by viewing traffic reports, spend less time slowing down on the freeway to look at accidents, controlling our tempers and freely relax in the environment of our vehicles. Safety and communication are vital in creating new solutions to the concerns faced by those who face slow- moving drivers, with a few positive changes on both drivers behalves the solution is simply win-win.
