Then it all falls down. He is totally focused on what happened with Turtle and continues to run the last conversation him and his family had with her before she took of. He thinks about all the times she was feeling very unwell in school. As a little young boy it can very hard to understand that some people are dealing with mental health problems. It’s nothing you can see and therefore can be hard to understand, because you really don’t know what the other person is actually feeling. It’s easier to relate to a broken arm, because it’s a bodily injury. But the mental problems can be even worse than that.

He then without him even noticing it draws Turtle. His thought about her went from his head and out his hand. But it’s good sign for him to be in touch with these hard feelings so maybe one day he will get over it. His biggest wish was that he could save her from her death, but you aren’t a superhero. This day is was a severe for him and he needs a break and then suggest they should go on a pub. But in the very end of the short story, it seems like he finally can find some kind of peace from this terrible experience.

Death is very hard to go through. Especially if everything you see reminds you of your lost one. It’s very hard to be in contact with these strong feelings, because it’s very unpleasant and it takes a lot of energy. But taking into account the fact that it is very hard, it’s also what makes you get over it. Life is hard and life is rough with strong relationships that ends, but it’s a part of the circle of life. But then it’s important to remember that the darkest hour is just before dawn. You will be alright.
