that I have as a writer is coming up with a viable topic. Sometimes I like to choose a topic that is so broad I sometimes lose track of what I really am writing about. With that being said, some of the things that I will work on would be the way that I organize my data to make sense, transitions to make points more clear, and credit and explanations to quotes and paraphrases that I will use. To tie my successes and opportunities together, the next thing would have been what I really learned about my self as a writer.
Sometimes while writing, you learn unique things about yourself. Throughout this cause and effect essay about digital piracy and the government’s response, I learned that I really like to put a lot of fluff in the paper. I will go off on a tangent and write about things that shouldn’t necessarily be in the paper to begin with. I also learn that some points that I include are sometimes extremely bias and have a side that is predetermined by myself, the writer. To be honest, this was the first cause and effect paper that I have written. I can’t remember a time where I ever had to write one. I learned finally how to write one, and make it make some sort of sense.
To wrap everything up with the cause and effect essay, I had to look at myself as a writer. I found that while I had many successes like my data organization and quote choices, I had a lot of opportunities with things like citing quotes and paraphrasing correctly. I also learned more about myself as a writer, and how to make things make more sense when it comes to a cause and effect essay.
