Ryan has taken the things hard in his life and turned them around. He has been living on his own for a year now, and been working as a janitor for our county court house for eleven years the first of July this year. Not only does he have good morals, but he has a very loving personality as well. He is one of the most caring people I’ve met; he almost always puts the needs and feelings of other people above his own. In the year we have been together he has stepped up and taken on a role that no one has even done, not even my sister and her husband of five years. Ryan has helped not only me, but also dealing with my disabled dad and making sure that he is taken care of and has all he needs. This means a great deal to me, I have not had anyone step in to help me with any of this situation. He is also very generous, both with his time and his money. When I am in need of supplies or something for the house he is right there to share what money he has. If someone calls off work and he is called in early he completely agrees even if he is tired. He is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, even if he has a problem with somebody, he can still face them with a smile, and ignore the urge to say something rude and unnecessary to them.

Ryan’s number one passion in life (aside from his Fiancé) is spending time with his grandparents. He does not have as much time as he would like to visit them, but every chance he does get he is right there making sure they are ok and having someone there. Since he was a little boy still living at home he was always at his grandparents. He is also very intelligent, and teaches me something new almost every day. The most attractive parts of his personality are his remarkable sense of humor and listening abilities. No matter how bad of a day I’ve had, he will always stop what he’s doing to listen to me vent, and then bring a smile to my face again. Ryan is honestly someone who I not only look up to, but I consider a special part of my life and care about very much.
