THE BEST STRATEGY BY JUSTIFICATION

The best strategy is by learning deeply the ritual concept of one culture. Rituals are transformative because they help us deal constructively with the intangible dynamics within us and within groups. Everyone has at least one superstition that they follow, whether they will admit it or not. Whether it’s from a certain religion, or a legend passed down from their ancestors. It’s in our human nature to come up with something to believe in, however obscure and ridiculous it may be. Many of these superstitions can dramatically affect a person’s life.

In this case, Mr. Richard can learn the ritual concept of the employees’ culture so that he understands the reason why the employees do what they did and why do they make the decision that they don’t want to cut the tree. Furthermore, by learning the ritual culture, he can explain clearly to the employees which part of ritual they have misinterpreted but in the same time, Mr. Richard still respects the employees’ culture. Besides, Mr. Richard will not confused if he face same situation in future.

IMPLEMENTATION

For the implementation of best strategy was choose, it have a short term and long term period of implementation this strategy. For the short term, the learning about spiritual concepts of the culture can make the expatriate more response about some believe and culture in some country especially different demographic and far away from origin country. When the expatriate come in new environment especially his did not have experience work in different life can increase a clash about believe and culture. The expatriate must do some research about the country before this and the company must appoint assistant or trainer to give knowledge and guideline after come at that country.

For the long term, if the company can provide the learning system to the expatriate can make all duty going smoothly and company can avoid the number of fail of expatriate when them all on duty in new country. This can save cost of training and avoid the image of company become damage.
