giving up their hopes on curing their diseases, and suicide will be one of their decisions. From a
report that recorded in Portland, Oregon shows that “Some terminally ill patients in Oregon who
turned to their state for health care were denied treatment and offered doctor-assisted suicide
instead”(Dan 1). This action is irrevocable since the life for a human being is the most unique
experience. But some people will try to convince their doctors to kill them by medicine because
they do not want to tolerate the pain that may on them. The problem for that is very serious,
since every single patient has the right to live and there are not much diseases in the world right
now is incurable. The incurable diseases are usually be able to be alleviated by constantly
consuming drugs that will help the organs work. Every single assisted suicide is committed, the
life will be withered like a flower, and the chance for doctors to discovering new treatment will
disappear too. Just as Toffler said in an interview that “It corrupts the consistent medical ethic
that has been in place for 2,000 years” and “It is absolutely heart-breaking”(22). Just as what he
said in this interview, if every single terminally ill patients choose the way to go by committing
suicide, the developments of medical will be hurt very badly.
Assisted suicide also is a very dangerous decision for the patients that choose to take
action on, and it may damage the trust between the patients and the organizations that suppose to
resolve the problem. Since assisted suicide service often includes burying, killing, and even
confession from some religious purposes, the cost for this action will contain a very large amount
of money. The operators for assisting suicide will not try to persuade you to consider the decision
twice, they will simply offer the service for a large amount of money that they could earn from
you. In many assisted suicide cases, the operators will simply ask you to sign a contract from
their organization that the patients are willing to perform assisted suicide, which follows by their

own opinion, and after the contract is signed, the organization will try to tell you that they will
take actions in few hours, and the patients will have a chance to regret their decisions. But for the
people already have a will to commit suicide will usually not regret their decision, that will cause
the assisted suicide to be considered as an act of murder in some points of view. From a data that
was shown from 2012 that was submitted to American Association of Suicidology shows "10th
ranking cause of death in U.S.— 2nd for young"(13) shows that, most of the patients in the US
took action when they are at a very young age. Which made their judgement on if the "suicide" is
the only solution for some specific problem nebulously and distortedly. The young teenagers will
mostly ignore that fact that the solutions for certain problems are not limited to end your own
life, but the organization will not care this more. They will only follow your will and assist you
achieve your goal which is suicide. As this way, some of the patient’s family will be easily
triggered by the hospital or organization that operates the suicide. Medical professor, Leon R.
