Since Anglo-saxon times the role of being a woman has changed drastically. Women have stopped having their main goal in life be bearing children and haved to working on themselves. Women are now holding the public offices that once could only be done by men. Some women still choose to stay home and take care of their children but they’re not forced too. Women can now begin companies and own land married or not. It has entirely changed for not being called by your name to now omen are only called by their names because they are now equal to men. There’s hundreds of differences between then and now and much to many to list. Women have come very far from then and will continue to excelle.
Even though the queen was named along with some other characters, women have rose up since anglo-saxon times because they are no longer seen as less than men and are addressed by their names and women are in high ranking positions that hold their own without help from men. Women have changed history and make amazing leaps that can be attributed to only them but they must continue to rise up until every women is equal to everyman. Sadly in parts of the world women are still treated less than dirt but with hope in the women of tomorrow some day they won’t be.
