The three credible sources that I have analyzed and identified in the research task are included in the paragraph, one more source from Goetzmann and Zhu (2005) have also been incorporated to further support the counter argument. This is because, Trombley (1997)’s research finding would not be sufficient to prove the fact that, weather does not impact on stock returns. Goetzmann and Zhu (2005) provided other factors such as the behavior of market makers – is contributing to the change of fundamental value of the stocks. Essentially, Goetzmann and Zhu’s findings are as much credible as Trombley in regards to the number of citations and cross-reference that other researchers acknowledge them. Just as in the research task, I choose to paraphrase and summarize the researchers findings in order to give an overview of the subject matter.
My writing process is keep in mind that – to construct a simple, straightforward and informative paragraph to my intended audience. In other words, the paragraph should contain a flow of logical assessment of the argument, easy to understand but also persuasive. The research incorporated should also provide readers with compelling reasons for the conclusion that I made in regards to answering the rhetorical question that I pose.
