Riordan Manufacturing Company is a global manufacturer in the line of plastic injection. The company is owned by Riordan Industries a fortune 1000 enterprise. Corporate headquarters is located in San Jose, CA, and maintain facilities in Georgia, Michigan, California, China and Albany, NY.
Riordan major customers are The Defense Department, automotive parts manufacturer, aircraft manufacturer, appliance manufacturer, and beverage makers and bottlers. They have a system in place that allows the company to conduct its research and development at their headquarters in San Jose, CA. Through innovation and creativity all facilities are connected to their HQ through wide area network (WAN) for better communication.
Riordan Manufacturing focus is to be the industry leader in polymer material and to dispense solutions to their customer’s challenges. Riordan defines their attitude and abilities as Six Sigma, leading edge R&D and exceeding ISO 9000 standard, Baihagi (2009). Their research and development is used as an industry leader to identify industry trends, long-term and customer relationships is a requirement to maintain meticulous quality controls; such as innovation solutions, responsible pricing along with a responsive business attitude. To maintain and achieve tenable profitability, Riordan Manufacturing assures that their human capital and financing is available for sustainable growth potential. The company also has established and maintains an innovative and workforce oriented environment, by ensuring that employees are well informed and properly supported, so that they will be able to provide a climate focused on the long-term viability of the company.
