One of my favorite topics to talk about is books, telling the different stories that I have read is so much fun for me. Personally I prefer to read paper books than digital, they have a better feeling, so for basic knowledge, books are made of paper and cardboard and on each page there are printed letters that tell a story and most of the great books are about 200 - 300 pages long.
When is comes to type of book I don't like poetry as much as romantic books because romantic novels tell a more detailed story than poetry. Poetry is supposed to be more profound but for me, I think romantic novels are much more profound than poetry. Over the years of reading books on my free time, I have learned some things about certain cultures such as, reading a book on a subway or bus is a sign of good manners to show the culture to others so that they can learn from it. Now in days, there are a lot of these things called ebooks which means they are electronic books that are supposed to make it easier to read in very different places with just out tablets o smartphones but I think that it is not acceptable for us not to teach the new generation on how to read paper books, these websites that have this tool of electronic books are indeed helpful, but they are just trying to get away with giving people books instead of giving them the feeling of a real book in their hands.
In summary, the best thing we have in society is the conservation of books and what they teach us in every page, it can go from teaching us a love story all the way to teaching us a cooking recipe because as humans we are programmed to learn and keep learning and that us what books are made for, helping a person or culture to learn new things, great things.
OPINIONS
I think that we should never discard the use of books in our lives, we need to be learning new things every day, it is important for our growth and it helps us to fit in with other cultures and know their customs and ways of living.
People now in days should discuss more about books than movies or gossip on TV, with books, we make our vocabulary grow, not only in our native language but also in other languages around the world, so it makes us become a better society.
