Personal Strength Analysis Summary

Before I sent out the emails to ask others for evaluating myself, my top three strengths I summarized is being honest, having positive attitude towards difficulties and being ambitious towards future life. However, when I collected the data I found there are so many strengths that I were not aware of them before. I asked 5 professors in my undergraduate period, 3 of them said I am diligent. That surprised me a lot because I were not aware of it before. Additionally, my boss and my colleagues regard me as helpful and energetic. They seldom say this to me so I am a little bit surprised to this point too.

Meanwhile, there are many differences and similarities between my views and others’ view. For instance, my parent think I am an honest girl and this is what I think too. My course professor regards me as creative students, but I think I just follow the instructions and did not create something new. Maybe we have different definition of “Creative”.

I think my greatest strengths is always being optimistic particularly towards difficulty. It could give me much encouragement and power from my inner heart or from myself. Maybe other strengths such as independence, being energetic or responsible are all generated from this strength.

As for my future career, these strengths would be much helpful or have positive influence on my career path. For example, if I meet difficulties during my work life, I may not express negative emotions to my colleagues and on contrary, I would be optimistic, creative and determined to solve it. This may impresses my boss greatly and thus I have opportunity to get promotion opportunity.
