Even more significant, if at all possible, than his academic achievements and ability to scrutinize his own theories, which have been recognized by all the awards Einstein received and the ones named after him, Einstein’s work shook the world’s concept of certainty. Prior to his discoveries, Newton’s laws of motion were considered to be perfect, yet Einstein’s theories quickly found an exception to them, through his theories on relativity, and thus Einstein revealed the fragility of our knowledge by disproving facts. No longer could experiment and experience be the absolutely deciding factors of science, but rather each theory, whether his own or another’s, needs to be constantly tested and reviewed.

Likely because he had one of the most liberal view in regards to science and our understanding of the universe, Einstein was also very liberal in terms of civil rights. The man considered America’s, “worst disease,” to be racism and actively spoke out against in on various occasions through various organizations[7]. Similarly, he was greatly against Hitler’s Nazi Regime and actively spoke out against it, as he advocated for world peace. Einstein gained international respect for his revolutionary findings in theoretical physics, and thus held influence on many people and likely was pivotal in many social changes that occurred in his lifetime and the years following.

Albert Einstein is considered one of the most intelligent men of all time, if not the most intelligent man of all time. His contributions towards the study of the universe is mind blowing, having shown that it is expanding and outlining many other physical phenomenon within it, his humble ability to question even his own beliefs was astonishing, and the changes he made in regards to the worlds views on racism and world peace are altruistic beyond his duties. Einstein, in his relatively short but packed lifetime, which came to an end when he was seventy-six in 1955, not only changed how people observe and understand our universe but also how we live in it and observe it, despite him starting off slower as a child.
