Use any heading that will convey to the reader what you've written in the section.

SECOND MAJOR HEADING

Since we're almost on page two, let me explain another detail to you about your report. When you use a table or figure, you must use an appropriate lead-in statement. An example of a lead-in statement follows. Microdot's annual sales almost doubled in 2004 from those earned in 2002, as shown in Figure 1.

Also remember that your figure must be as near as possible to where it's first mentioned in your text. If it does not fit on the page you're working on, then it should be placed on the top of the next succeeding page. And, any table or figure should be neatly presented. Below the figure point out in narrative form what you want the reader to learn from the figure. Do not repeat the data, but explain the conclusions you draw from the data.

Any Appendixes that you add at the end of the report should be referred to in the Discussion so your reader knows why they are there.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS

Don't forget that you want to present a unified package in this report. Consequently, you will want to present a summary and conclusions section of your purpose, discussion points, and analysis at the end of your report.

RECOMMENDATIONS

This is where your recommendations belong. You may bullet them if there is more than one. But be succinct. Any discussion of their features, benefits, or implementation belongs in the discussion of your report.
