COMMENTS
On balance, the Spanish Market this week behaved positively. Concerns about the Brazilian economy were calmed thanks to the reassuring revaluation of the FMI. At the same time, the calling of the Argentine elections was also well received by the Market. On the other hand, the lack of information from Wall Street, due to the 4th July festivities and operations being limited to a half-day session on Friday, meant that traders took advantage of the situation to take up positions on the stocks most seriously affected. Notwithstanding, caution was felt among investors while awaiting the next results publication, accountancy irregularities in the U.S. and the recovery rate of the economy.
The Ibex-35 closed at 7,078.4 points and rose by 2.39% on the previous week.
