- Aling Foping’s was established May of 2003 and founded by Mrs. Ayala. She was also the one who derived the name Aling Foping’s who was an imaginary character that is a strict, meticulous and perfectionist nanny. Their store is known for their specialty which is halo-halo but they also serve beverages and sandwiches. Perhaps the only store that uses mineral water in their ice when serving halo-halo. Not only that, you can customize your halo-halo by choosing what toppings you want.

As years passed by, Aling Foping’s boomed when the highest quota will just be earned nearly every day unlike the introduction stage, where they will only expect a lot of customers during Araw ng Davao or Kadayawan. With this, they expanded their location near SM Lanang and added a different variety of toppings and more foods on the menu to suit the cravings of the customers. They are open for twelve hours (1:00pm-12mn) from Monday to Saturday and ten hours (3:00pm-12mn) for Sunday.

Aling Foping’s also serves Croquetas. Croquetas is made with chicken with ham. It is savory and crusty balls. It is priced at fifty pesos for four pieces of Croquetas.

The strength of Aling Foping’s is that it is known to serve the best tasting halo-halo in Davao City. Also, many people are interested in trying their halo-halo because people can choose their own ingredients in their halo-halo, and because of their tasty halo-halo, people also want to try their other products namely, Croquetas, Chili con Carne, and many more. Nevertheless, they also have a weakness. They only have two branches which are located at MTS and SM Lanang. Their location in MTS is not easily seen and it is located at the end of MTS.

- Potato Eaters’ branches are found at schools or malls. It is a snack store, serving French fries, Cross-cut fries, and Hash browns.

Hash browns made by Potato Eaters are delicious and perfectly fried. It only cost twenty pesos each. On top of this, you can choose what to put on your hash brown. You can choose from cheese powder, barbecue powder, sour cream powder, ketchup or mayonnaise.

Potato Eaters’ strength is that it is affordable to students. It is a better alternative for costly priced potato products. However, its weakness is that is not much known to people.
