The statistics show headphone brands’ ownership share in the United States in 2017 (according to a Statista survey) 30% of respondents said that they own Sony headphones and following with Bose & Beats by Dre/Apple. It is recommended to seek new business with Bose, Beats by Dre/Apple & Skullcandy (Figure).

Start-up companies:

The evolution of the hearables market has been significantly increase and there are high demands in the market, because of that several numbers of startups took advantage of the growth in crowdfunding to experiment with hearable devices. There are lot of advantages for targeting the start-up companies:

- Avoid head-to-head competition, which bring alternative business opportunity.

- Collaborate with startups would help to understand the market trend.

- More willing to use new technology to add value on their products.

- Quicker to enter the markets and short negotiation time.

Focusing on servicing these type clients will ensure profitability through optimal product turnover.

The B2B customers buy everything for some value addition to whatever business they are in. On the contrary, B2C customers sometimes buy for personal satisfaction. The desire of purchase for B2B customers must be triggered by needs. Needs is based on differentiated, validated drives that customers express for a specific product or service begin offered.

Needs could be identified into three levels: Organizational, Departmental and Individual. The company needs to overcome their competitor’s products and Hence, there would be a strong departmental need on productivity and work efficiency.
