You will have the opportunity to evaluate your teammates. Students not completing their fair share will receive a lowered grade. It is your responsibility to be an active participant and to seek out ways to help your team. Waiting to be told what to do is not appropriate team behavior! While I encourage you to try and work out problems within your team, should you need my assistance, please feel free to ask. After the deadline for an assignment, there is little to nothing I can do to help your team’s functioning, so please contact me earlier rather than later.

Helpful hints on MLA format in-text citations and assembling a Works Cited:
I have put together a few examples to help with in-text citations and assembling your Works Cited related to Music2Go.
Typically, MLA format follows an author and page number format for doing in-text citations, such as citing our textbook as (Lamb, Hair, McDaniel 45). The player's manual is authored by Smartsims and so would be cited in-text as (Smartsims #) where the # indicated the page number. If a source does not have an identified author (which is fairly likely given what you are going to be citing for your Strategy assignments) you use the full or shortened version of the title and include a page number if possible. If a source does not have a page number, such as the Industry Benchmark Report, you just include the full or shortened version of the title, such as (Benchmark). Please note that whatever you use in your in-text citation must be easily connected to one and only one entry in your Works Cited. For example, you would not use (Report) as your in-text citation because you will likely have multiple entries in your Works Cited that all include the word "Report" in their title.
Your Works Cited entry should start with an author if possible. If there is no identified author, you would start with the title.
Some other components of your entries:
- Title of the Website, project or book (In this case the simulation - Music2Go-Intro)
- Any version numbers including, revisions, dates of revisions, volumes or issue numbers (this includes the Period Year for reports within the simulation)
- Page range (if available)
- Medium of publication (electronic, print, CD-Rom, etc...)
- Date you accessed the material (only needed if it's an electronic source that is likely to change) (you will need this for your in-simulation reports, but not for the Player's Manual)
A Works Cited entry for your Player's Manual would look something like this:
Smartsims. "Music2Go-Intro Players Manual". Revision E. Electronic.
A Works Cited entry for the Industry Benchmark Report for 2020 (retrieved on February 5, 2016) would be:
"Industry Benchmark Report". Music2Go-Intro. Period 2020. Electronic. February 5, 2016.
For most reports you will need to adjust the Period year and the date retrieved as appropriate.
You should be able to figure out how to modify the above entry to accommodate any report you cite within the simulation.
Hopefully this helps.
