The reason I say this is if someone else designed this phone they would go with the company that would offer the most and give them the most for their idea this means that any company could have bought the design for instance the design could go for any company meaning it wouldn’t be exclusive to Samsung. The possibilities are endless if this was the other way. Let’s just say for this scenario that this is my idea I would personally contact the top five cell phone companies pitch the phone design with the edge and see what they say then I would for max profit not sell the idea to an individual company this would be made clear to each of the top five who ever agrees to terms would then be able to create their own phones with the edge screen. This turning max profit for me the designer and entrepreneur and creating an easy way for me not to worry about how they market it so much because they also want to make money so sales won’t be an issue. Now by using the top five companies you know you already have the support of any of their loyal customers.
In conclusion the edge design on the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge paved the way for the future of cell phone capabilities and idea for advanced apps and widgets. All in all Samsung did really good with this product not only in the design but in the apps and widgets that come with and with the updates and new stuff being added all the time are paving way for new ideas from other people that I’m sure will come in the future.
