5 Who (what characters) through their behavior best exemplifies and least exemplifies the definitions, traits, characteristics, or behavioral outcomes described or predicted by the team process model?
In the movie, the # 8 gives the best exemplifies the definitions and characteristics predicted by the team process. On the contrary, the # 3 show the least exemplifies of the team process model.
In the movie, # 8 always try to show an objective way to avoid make conflict to others (16:28). When the conflict is unavoidable, # 8 choose to quit of the vote to maintain the venerable team relationship (41:00). At the end, he just like a leader to show the fact to lead the team to a correct way by the means of refute the untenable point of views and build the consensus in the team (1: 53) without any individual emotions. But the # 3 just like a man lost his mind that always release his emotion to person who against him (43:08). Even when his fact was proved that unreasonable, he still intensifies the conflict. He is always stand on his own ground to against the team (1:15 and 1:30:15) always break the cohesion of the team. As a result, the outcome of team goal is very hard to achieve and full with unpleasant.
6 Why (or why not) would the process model be a good explanation for the outcomes achieved?
Just as the characters in the movies, # 8 always try to find a correct way to lead the jurors to make a right judgment even everyone against him at first that 1 vs 11 votes about the guilty identification of the boy (14:02). He is anxiety when he faces the situation that his negative vote would be invalid, but he not release his negative emotion to others and chose to obey the team (39:36). After majority of members stand with him, he also tries to unit all the people not just the majority with his inference base the fact (1:30:15 and 1:36:20) until the cohesion appears and everyone is accepted to each other (1:59). In fact, the cry of the #3 is means that the teamwork is sufficient and that the disagreement among the peers has replaced by the cohesion.
