Briefly summarise any previous research/professional experience in your area of interest

I am currently serving SZABIST, Dubai, as a lecturer in Department of Management Sciences and exhibit a great interest in research and development in services sector. I intend to pursue my career as a marketing researcher and a consultant in services sector. I possess strong academic background with an extensive concentration on marketing domain especially towards consumer behaviour. I specialized in marketing at both Bachelors and Masters Level with having 4 Journal publications (3 are in review), 5 conference papers and various workshops and seminars. My academic and professional experiences (as discussed in Resume) indicate a strong sense of direction and I personally feel that an opportunity at Doctoral program will let me make full use of my research and development capabilities. I possess a strong commitment towards research and development.

I want to focus on how marketers can map various touch points consumers display during service acquisition and consumption; and how consumers can be actively involved in co-creation activities of service innovation process in order to design and deliver an exceptional consumer experience. To me, continuing my education is crucial because acquiring essential quantitative and qualitative research skills is extremely important and especially with my interest in conceptualization, measurement and design of consumer experience in services sectors, I wish to keep improving on my skills.

It would be an honour for me to be a part of PhD program in Marketing at University of Auckland as I have seen all the work professors have done and am especially impressed by research initiatives.
