CRITERIA MARKS

1. FACTUAL INFORMATION: Student has presented a substantial body of accurate factual information to support their analysis. They have provided factual detail about at least three economic issues of their choice and analysed the information to provide a detailed and accurate explanation of each. /10

2. RESPONSE TO QUESTION: Student has used their research and data to write an informed response to the focus question. They should use their data to illustrate their claims about the economic issues they have chosen and high-end responses may even reference specific sources that offer opposing views on the subject. /10

3. RESEARCH: Student has conducted extensive research, drawing from more than 6 different and credible sources. Student has used the databases they have been directed to as well as conducting some wider research of their own. /5

4. REPORT STYLE: Student has produced a carefully planned and well-formatted report that includes all the appropriate elements listed under the ‘report’ heading in the task sheet. Report should be carefully proof-read for spelling or grammatical errors and it should be written in a formal style. /3

5. REFERENCING AND BIBLIOGRAPHY: Student has referenced their work and/or included a properly formatted bibliography using a consistent style and format. /2
