Also, due to new technologies, they can offer innovative services, such as allowing their customers to ship their packages practically anywhere. Once again, this helps UPS to have a greater focus on the client, by offering services that are more practical and reliable to the customer.

Without the latest technology, UPS could not be true to their value proposition and would not be market leader.

What would happen if these technologies were not available?

1. Customer/ Sender: If there were not available for information system, the customer will decrease faster. Senders want to choose the good one which has high proof and information system and the easiest to understand system.

2. Global delivering: For the other countries it will be difficult to get their packages. They wouldn't know how is it going with their packages. It means no information about their packages.

3. Saving Cost: Maybe it will be good to saving cost for the company. They do not need enough employees and machines.

4. Time Losing: The systems always give trusty and real information about the packages. For the company it can be an advantage, but if there is no information then the company can lose their time.

If these technologies weren't available, it would be really hard to evolve and be positioned in the top of mind of the customers, to keep growing and reinvent their self, keeping low costs and streamlining operations.

Missing with these kind of technologies could have a several impact on customers but also for the company when managing the logistics and supply chain to other companies as they have innovated and updated the way of serving by providing a real time feedback and tracking.

Without the information available and thank to the implemented technologies, it has been possible to set the service at the top and satisfy customer’s needs.
