The Utilitarian Theory

Applying utilitarian theory, Mr. X must decide which alternative generates the most good and the least harm for the people involved. Mr. X is concerned about the trust that student have on the mess workers and faith that they are having good food in the university. By going with first option he will defiantly going to play with lots of people sentiments. But he chooses the second option then he may help larger part of the people involved in it but it may leads to expulsion of the mess workers or managers or replacement of current mess vendor with new one. Still the second option is better as only few people will get affected and will help larger part of the people.
Rights Theory
(After asking and answering all the questions relevant to the test)
If Mr. X agrees with the mess manager then he will violating the rules and regulation of University and mess. More over taking away the right know from the student and other people who dine in the mess. It will better that he should not agree to mess manager proposal and report to concern authorities. By this way he will not be violating any rules and policy.
Distributive Justice
(After asking and answering all the questions relevant to the test)
In case Mr. X goes for the 2nd option then only he will be doing justices to the stake holders because that caters to the larger public and people associated to it. This make Mr. X responsible to person and justifies him as an honorable person.
Caring Theory
(After asking and answering all the questions relevant to the test)
The 2nd option shows that he do care about his close ones whom with he have special relationship. That’s why he didn’t get involve with manager and reject the deal. It show deep down he feels and care for his families value as well as the sentiment of the people around him who all the vegetarian.
Virtue Theory

By going with the second option he show that what type of person he wants and wants people to know him about. It represent the university norms and principle by going with second option. Its shows his honesty, fairness and loyalty towards the university norms and towards the people of university.
Common Good Test
(After asking and answering all the questions relevant to the test)
The second option take care of common good test aspect because it take care of the larger chunk of people belief, values and sentiments related to their food habits. It has taken care with second option as it make it visible to all and people now know what they can do if required.
