Comparison

Another world view may not have scriptures that remind you that you shouldn’t be dishonest or lie about things but they could come to same resolution to not take the drugs in the first place. For example, let’s take atheist for instance, they believe that your instinctual urges no necessarily the good and evil idea. It is up to you to make the choice whether or not to follow those urges. So, with this dilemma you can say that an atheist person would have advised Paul not to fulfill his urge of wanting to take the drugs because there would be possible consequences in him doing so.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this dilemma Paul had caused him to test his integrity that he had. Should he take the drug to help him? Or work harder at what he wants in a natural state? With the Christian view, this may be a way of god testing Paul in seeing if he will be tempted by the sin of lying and deceiving those around him by taking the drug and making them believe that he is doing it on his own. What if he had taken the drugs and regretted it right after doing it? Would that make him just as good as someone who chose not to take the drug? Can he come back from that sin? I think so with Paul’s continue believe in his Christian faith will get him out of the situation. He would have to trust in God and allow him to help to get Paul where he needs to be without the temptation of taking the drug.
