For example, my brother’s friend who immigrated to the U.S at 27 of age. He was very frustrated because of language barrier between English and Japanese, new people, and new environment. He decided to meet a counselor at college to register some classes that could help him improve his English. It is also a chance for him to meet new people and integrate into new cultural.
The most important solution to adjust a new culture is “ Be Yourself and Believe In Yourself”. You should be confident, always try your best when doing something and never stop learning new things. Self confidence helps you to believe that you can overcome the most difficult of challenges and enjoy being successful. Your negativity would be a thing of the past and rather than listen to negative comments from others you would encourage yourself to be the fantastic person you know you can be. Sometimes, it’s okay to give yourself permissions to make mistakes. And

remember, you’re on the way to adjust culture, not dissolve. It could be hard, but don’t ever let the frustration brings you down.
In conclusion, it’s not easy to live and study in a foreign country with lots of new things.
Cultural Adjustment is an adventure, so be patient and open to the challenges. You should be the one who approach, adjust and integrate into your new environment. You shouldn’t be afraid or let a lack of difficulty get over you. By that, you will grow up strongly and create a foundation of success of your life.
