At that point, I finally realized I had a voice and what it said counted for something In that speech, I was able to thank all my teacher who really was able to help me get this far. I was so very happy that I was able to share this experience with the ones that were there through the thick and the thin. I was very excited no one has ever heard or read my writing before. I was very nervous to share my writing .I found out that day I to was able to get through to others the whole visiting room crying. They felt my words they really heard me. For once, I can really say I was proud of myself. I did not let Ms. Michelson down; it felt amazing to accomplish something.
From that, point on I was able to put my thoughts on paper. It feels good to write things that people can actually understand today. I was so intimidated by having to write anything that someone else would read I felt like I had no voice until I met a very special teacher that believed in me until I believed in myself. I am very thankful to Ms. Michelson for believing in me until I had the confidence to believe in myself. Today not only do I have to write for school, I also write in my journal on a daily basis. I know I have a way to go to get the great writing skills needed for my English class. I also know I am no way near where I used to be with my writing. Today I am very open minded in learning how to become a better writer. I now know I have the confidence and skills to further my writing. As long as I do not give up, my future in writing looks good.
