Imagine if you had chronic pains or a crippling illness and there was a simple way to reduce the immense pain that you were suffering from. The issue is, that although marijuana is the safest and most affective option of pain relief, it is somewhat illegal in our country, and would be considered a crime for you to seek something as basic as an AFFECTIVE way to ease your condition. Medical marijuana can assist and bring relief to sufferers of many conditions such as arthritis, anorexia and other anxiety disorders, cerebral palsy and it can even help treat obesity. There’s no need for Australians to continue suffering. The solution is simple; we fully legalize medical cannabis to assist in relieving the suffering of many million Australians.

This leads me to my last point. Medical marijuana is already legal in over 20 countries, working its magic on patients overseas but not here. Let me give you a bit of an idea of just how many other countries have legalized this substance medically by naming you just a few;

Bangladesh, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, Most U.S. States And Alaska.

So we're still not on the list. Even though there has been talk of late about legalization in Australia it's only about trialing the drug and honestly it seems that our government is all talk. We need to get serious and put the needs of our nation before our immature, outdated opinions about "stoners" and "weed". It's only a matter of time before medical Marijuana is legal here, why don’t we just speed up the process and show the rest of the world that Australia is a country that can act on its words and cares about it citizens.

Seriously, we’ve been arguing about this for too long and it’s getting beyond a joke.

Medicinal marijuana is that close to being legalized here in Australia and bringing relief to hundreds and thousands of sufferers …but our leaders need to follow through because we’re already behind the 8 ball with so many other countries having legalized and continuing to legalize medical marijuana

So we best catch up and get a move on before we get left behind for good.

Thanks everyone.
