If you practice some of the technics you can help build better memory details. So if you lowered your stress and anxiety can help your memories. To reduce stress set realistic expectations. Take breaks throughout the day. Express your feelings instead of bottling them up. Stay focused on one thing at a time. Take time to remember where you put things. You can also prepare for a speech by getting to know the room. You can exercise your brain by learning something new. If you do something you are already good at does not exercise your brain. So take the time to do something you’re not so good at. Find something that challenges your brain. For example if you’re in the band try playing a new instrument. Pick one that will challenge you the whole time not just once in a while. Work on skills that you can build on. Pick something that you can start at an easy level then work your way up to master level. Pick something that you enjoy and will get rewards from. When you think about exercising the brain does not mean working just the brain. This also means physical exercise. Do some exercises that get your blood pumping. If it takes you a long time to wake up, do your exercises in the morning. This will work on hand eye coordination which is good for the brain. Taking time throughout the day to take a short walk or do some jumping jacks will reboot your brain. Make sure you get the right amount of sleep. Try not to watch to or play on your phone or computer be for you go to bed. This causes your brain to stay awake. Try not to drink as much caffeine because it will keep you awake as well.
