have friendly relations with higher authorities which are not one of their main strengths. Hence they may suffer rejection and working on miniature projects in their initial stages where they are yet to develop their communication skills. As they are full of confidence they generally tend to work alone or in minimal groups where they can maximize their thinking and creativity and need not be continuously interrupted by colleagues and supervisors. As a result they cannot be found in administration roles or responsibilities which require lot of teamwork and communication. They have exceptionally high standards for talent and knowledge and the moment they find any of their colleagues or supervisors to be below the standard, they would stop respecting them or interacting with them.

ESTP Boss

Behaviour of ESTP:

ESTP’s are the ones who like risky lifestyle and are full of energy and life. They find no greater joy in anything other than challenging and pushing themselves and finding new innovative ideas. They like to groom ideas that are practical and can be out into practise and they stay out of arbitrary discussions. As a result they put new ideas and solutions in ways no one else can think of. They are also cautious of changes in the environment and try to change according to the situations. But when it comes to communication they are clear and abstract and to the point. The above qualities make them a natural leader in a group. This leadership is not something they crave for but with their personality type they are experts at social interactions and networking opportunities.

Weakness:

They are insensitive to feeling and emotions as they always look at things the way they are and they don’t bother about the circumstances. They move at their own pace as that is what keeps them challenging and motivated and they would be impatient if someone or something hinders their speed. They do not hesitate to get into risky situations to get rid of the boredom. Once they see a problem they right away look at the fastest way to get into the solution not considering the rules and regulations to be considered. As they are too eager to solve the problems, the project as such could be perfect but it may fallout as a whole if the parts don’t fit together.

Work Life:

The people of this personality are quick in making decisions and they are perfect in making friends and connections where ever they may go. As networking and popularity can be hugely required in the working world they have a perfect chance at making it big. They trust themselves in making their own judgements. They do not sit and wait for someone to come and guide them, which may sometimes land them in trouble but ultimately this is what is required in corporate world and in the end they come in high colours. Hence they always will be ready to forgo stable but boring jobs to less stable exciting jobs. This attitude of living life on their own terms makes them ideal people for entrepreneurs and freelancers. And they assign the boring tedious and research oriented work to those who are better suited and interested.

Interaction between me as Boss (ISFJ) and Subordinate (INTJ):

ISFJ are more friendly and considerate to colleagues and customers concerns, whereas INTJ are workaholic and self-confident which makes less considerate of others ideas and concerns. Hence both of them being in same team may cause communication gap and lead to mishap. In a team given and option a Boss can be more authoritative and inconsiderate of subordinates but not the other way. Hence in this situation as the Boss is already a friendly and considerate person giving equal importance to subordinate’s suggestions and ideas, it would be good on subordinate’s part to change himself to be considerate and interacting with the team members. Otherwise the team as such cannot deliver good results as both the Boss and subordinate would be on two different paths and eventually the team falls out. This would be problematic mainly for the subordinate as he needs to look out for a new job. Also the Boss should be able to express his feelings and make sure his word is being taken in the team as he cannot shy away from expressing his feelings. Even though it is good to see the boss considerate of his colleagues he needs to earn respect and support from his team.

Interaction between me as Subordinate (ISFJ) and Boss (ESTP):

Here the subordinate’s behaviour as a humble and loyal employee is apt to the team. The boss is very enthusiastic and full of energy coming up with new ideas and suggestions. This can be taken up the loyal and humble subordinate and implemented in accordance with the manager’s interests and thoughts. The team culture will be good here as the expectations from both the subordinate and boss are matching. But the subordinate needs to project himself and become visible to make sure he is being recognised based on his contribution. Similarly the manager needs to consider the suggestions of subordinate also and reward him as and when required to motivate him even though the subordinate does not expect that. He cannot miss a subordinate who is loyal and honest, who is a great team member supporting and guiding other colleagues and who does his job for the love of it and not expecting any rewards in return. The manager also cannot enforce the problem to be fixed in a specific way but needs to get the ideas from his sub ordinates too. Finishing a project is not enough but making sure the combined project holds is more important.
