7’s latest issue, “What is “Tiger” parenting? How does it affect children? An examination of a parenting practice growing in popularity” was published July 2013. The article compares three types of parenting skills and how it affects children emotionally and psychologically.

Division 7 is also linked to multiple informational journals like “Birth: Issues in Perinatal Care” which expresses major importance in perinatal care, covers issues in pregnancy and childbirth, and presents a forum for discussing current issues in maternal and newborn care and the importance of changing clinical practices. Another good journal is “Attachment and Human Development”. Contains articles on attachment issues, behavioral sciences, child and family social work, developmental psychology, mental health, health and social care, psychological science, social work, social policy, and psychological depression in adults, children, and adolescents. There’s also a journal that is published twelve times a year on geriatric psychiatry called “The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry”. Which covers the diagnosis’s and classifications of different types of geriatric psychiatric disorders, later life, epidemiology and biological correlates of mental health of older adults, psychopharmacology and other somatic treatments.

The Association for Psychological Science, (APS), was founded in 1988 and is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promote, help, and protect the interests of psychology in research, application, teaching, and the improvement of human welfare on a scientific level. The APS has published multiple journals to support the cause. Such as “Current Directions in Psychological Science” that covers leading experts reviews of scientific psychology and its applications. Also, the unique journal “Psychological Science in the Public Interest” features compelling and comprehensive reviews of issues that are of direct relevance to the general public. However, the newest journal is “Clinical Psychological Science” which shows advances in clinical science and provides research covering a wide range of views, approaches, and topics.
