of how animals are cruelly treated and killed before being served as meals for human (Animal Farming, 2014; Foie Gras and Cruelty, 2012). Most of the people understand that the meat they are having comes from thousands of poultry being caught in farms, losing their proper freedom and being slaughtered. However, they are ruthless towards the animals and enjoy their meals as usual. Although vegetarianism has become gradually popular in these years, there are still a large proportion of people consuming meat every day as only 6.7% of surveyed people claimed that they never eat meat (Stahler, 2006). Therefore, there is a majority of people who still consume meats to achieve their satisfaction, even though they have acknowledged about the tragic situation of those animals apparently. It concludes that most of the people do not show their compassion to the others who have been suffering from pain. Instead, they put their self-interest at the top of their decision-making priorities, neglecting how the others are being treated, which have suggested that their nature is intrinsically bad.

In conclusion, human are born with naturally bad and evil nature. People’s behavior under the governance of the communist party has shown their self-interested mind, with the support of scientific research that indicates human nature are highly correlated with violence and evil. Furthermore, the large population of people consuming meats made from cruelly treated animals has proved the majority of human beings are evil minded, rather than having the heart of compassion, as claimed by Mengzi. Therefore, it is evident to show that human nature are intrinsically bad with an evil mind.
