As an example, Wonda coffee ran an interactive advertisement which involved the 5 senses in the New Straits Times in January 2014. If the concept were to be applied to newspapers it would increase its interactivity and increase its appeal. Another thing that newspapers could do would be to tie in the physical newspaper with digital devices. This is seen in the Star Newspaper where the reader can scan the newspaper and be linked to the digital article/replica version on their device.
