My last interviewee was a male that uses hairspray to style his hair but not Aussie Aussome hairspray. He was in his early 20’s who currently goes to school at Bunker Hill Community college and works at a local car wash with his free time. He mentioned that the product that he usually uses is a brand named Rave, where you can buy it as cheap as a dollar at the dollar store. Starting off the conversation I asked if he would ever consider using Aussie Aussome hairspray. He said, that he has no problem using a new hairspray he just always liked buying Rave because it is cheap and keeps his hair in place when he spikes it. I got the impression that he could not afford expensive hairspray and I mentioned to him that he could buy Aussie Aussome hairspray at his local Walmart for as cheap as four dollars. He said, he did not know that and that he would feel awkward buying a purple spray bottle with a kangaroo on it. I laughed, and asked him if he could describe to me what the Rave hairspray bottle looks like. He said, that it is a tall silver bottle with a light blue cap and light blue lettering. I felt that the only reason why he didn’t mind purchasing Rave hairspray because it was more masculine looking. I then asked him if he any motivation to use Aussie hairspray, he said now he does. By talking to me he now feels that knows some more information about the product and feels comfortable using the product. I asked him if he only uses Rave hairspray on special occasions or on an everyday basis. He said, he uses it almost on an everyday basis and even carries it in his gym bag for when he takes a shower after working out at the gym. I then thought to myself, that he uses Rave hairspray in front of men all time if he is frequently going to the gym and taking showers and he probably wouldn’t feel comfortable using Aussie Aussome hairspray in the men’s locker room. I decided to ask him if he would use this Aussie Aussome hairspray at the gym after taking a shower. I thought his answer was going to be completely different but it turns out that he wouldn’t care if he used Aussie Aussome hairspray in the men’s locker room. He said, if the hairspray gets the job done than he wouldn’t mind using it. After talking about Rave hairspray I wanted to show him the hairspray so he could see it for himself. I took the hairspray out of my bag and asked him to observe it and smell it. He laughed at me and said why do I have to smell it and I said, because I want to know if you would like the smell of the hairspray. He said, he never really thought to smell the hairspray and he wasn’t sure what Rave hairspray even smelt like. I told him he should always smell his hairspray because that is what his hair is going to smell like when using the product, and nobody wants to smell like bad hairspray. Before this interview I asked him not to put any hairspray in his hair so he could try out Aussie Aussome hairspray to see if he would like the texture and smell of it. After he was done observing the bottle I asked him if he would be ready to give the hairspray a try on his own hair. He said, let’s do this! As I sat and waited for him to come out of the bathroom I was really hoping that he would enjoy this product as much as I do. After about ten minutes he finally came out of the bathroom. He looked at me and said, not too bad for a hairspray with a kangaroo on it. I laughed and asked him if he like the smell and texture of the product. He said the smell was not bad at all but the texture can get very flaky and hard. I asked what he meant by flaky and he said, after using too much of it, it seemed to start flacking and got really hard. He said, he is used to using a lot of Rave hairspray at once and Aussie Aussome hairspray you only need to use a little to get the job done because it a stronger quality then Rave hairspray. I told him he could possible save money by using Aussie Aussome hairspray because he wouldn’t have to use as much as he uses from the Rave hairspray. I then thought to ask him how many bottles of Rave hairspray he uses in a month. He said, about five in a month maybe even less. Using five Rave hairspray could cut you down to about three Aussie Aussome hairsprays within a month since he wouldn’t have to use as much. My next question was, if he felt in any way disappointed in the product. He said, not at all disappointed and that he enjoyed how well his first experience was because like he said early, it got the job done and he liked the smell of the product. I was very pleased how this last interview went because I wasn’t sure how he was going to feel about Aussie Aussome Hairspray and glad it is going to memorable experience for him. After the interview was done I told him he could keep the product that I bought specially for this interview and told him the first one is on me. He laughed, and thanked me for this experience and was happy he could help me out with a college paper that I need to write.

After conducting these three interview I found many similarities, differences, and interesting patterns. One thing I noticed was all three of my interviewees all wanted to buy cheap hairspray and not the expensive kind. It's crazy to keep noticing that everyone has a budget, even if it's simply on hair products. I was glad to inform my last interviewee about Aussie Aussome hairspray and tell him the price of it because he mentioned he likes to go to the dollar store and buy his hairspray for as cheap as a dollar. I also noticed that all my interviewees wanted a hairspray that would keep their hair very firmly together. I'm also like that because I have very straight and fine hair and finding a hairspray that can hold a curl is very difficult, and that’s why I love this product so much because it can hold a curl. Another thing I was surprised to see my first two interviewees have in common was that they both had trouble with the spray bottles. For some reason, the spray bottle would get clogged and the person using it would have to shake it to get more sprays out of it. As I mentioned earlier in my paper, this is common issue with this product and Aussie is going to fix the spray bottle problem. What I found that was different between these three interviews is how much they use the product and when they use the product. For example, the first and last interviewee uses hairspray products on an everyday basis and the second interviewee uses hairspray only when styling her hair. They all didn’t have much different between each other, rather than their age and why they are using the product. It was also interesting to see how much they all enjoy using hairspray products. Before conducting these three interviews I would have never thought that there are women and men out there that rely on using hairspray as much as I do when styling my hair. It was also interesting to see what all three interviewees
