The persian empire started at 530 BC and ended in 331 BC. While the Roman Empire started from 753-27 BC, 64-1435 AD.
The cities in the Persian empire was around the middle east. It spanned over Turkey to Egypt and through Mesopotamia to the Indus River. The capital cities of this civilization was Babylon and Susa. While he cities in the Roman Empire was around Europe. All the cities ruled by the Roman Empire is now at Britain (not scotland), Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, and north coast of Africa. The capital cities for this civilization was Rome. As you can see there is a huge difference between these two civilization. They both are located in two different continents and two different environment. They also have two different climates and temperatures which means they both have different lifestyle.
The persian empire was governed by a king. The citizens did not fight the king as long as they pay their taxes and do not interfere with religious beliefs custom, trade. This way of government made the Persian Empire developed. The Roman Empire was governed by a emperor. This emperor will control the civilization as well as the army and wars. This means the emperor had a dominant power unlike the Republic. The two civilization have the same type of government. This type of government is called autocracy which means government by one person. That means these two civilization have the same type of government.
The persian religion is called Zoroastrianism. This was a monotheistic religion which means they belief in one and only one god. The after life is like heaven and hell, if you do good things you go to Ahura Mazda and if you do bad things you go to Aura Mainyu. These beliefs made more people to do good things and shape up the empire. While the Roman religion was first a polytheistic religion, which means they belief in multiple gods. These romans believed in different gods with Jupiter, Juno and Minerva being the most important ones. But in the 4th century AD, emperor Constantine decided to make Christianity an official religion of the Roman Empire. This means that the religion of the Roman Empire is a monotheistic religion. As you can see these two civilization was both a monotheistic religion. These two religion also have some similarities about their afterlife. For example; if you do good things in Zoroastrianism you will go to Ahura Mazda, and if you do good things in Christianity you go to heaven.
The job specialization in persian empire are mostly consisted of traders and farmers. More skilled workers get paid more than less skilled workers. The other jobs are ; laborers, merchants, landlords, soldiers, doctors and slaves. The job specialization in the Roman Empire are Butchers, Bakers, Smiths, Traders, Military, Law, Farming and Fishing. Most of the work and the buildings was done by slaves. Both of these civilization have farmers and traders. Although traders and farmers weren’t that important in the Roman Empire, I’m sure that these jobs made the civilization developed and build a better community. And one of the difference between these two civilization is that in the Persian Empire there were landlords which were wealthy men. But in the Roman Empire they did not have landlords.t
