China and Rome both had a line of strong rulers followed by several unsuccessful ones that led to the fall of their empires. The Han Dynasty was eventually dissolved and divided into regional kingdoms and the Roman Empire collapsed. Both empires also underwent revolts by their peoples and attacks from other regions around them. The Han led to the Yellow Turban Uprising which was caused by land redistribution. The Romans were attacked by several Germanic tribes including the Huns.
