Development of China in the international system can not be described through the realist paradigm. China has achieved notable ascent through economic interdependence and international integration. It also rejected the rules to achieve global differences era past, including a focus on the relative advantages, power is defined primarily through military power and obsessed over the balance of power.

The rise of China can be seen in three related theories of international relations. By looking at the transformation of China in international relations, we can see the application of the paradigm of Liberalism, which focuses on absolute advantage and economic interdependence. China's embrace of international organizations Neoliberal Institution understood through the theory, which describes the understanding of China on global and regional cooperation in pursuit of common interests and regional stability, foster sustainable growth. Constructivist lens allows us to understand how China and its behavior regarding the identity of the indigenous form of integration into the global economy, leading to the benefits associated with the establishment of an international. Finally, while the realism of playing a role in providing some answers to the political rise of China, it failed to assert itself as the leading theory to explain the ascent of China, show weakness due to lack of account for the dominant aspect that leads China to great power status, economic. Through these three theories of international relations: Liberalism, Neoliberal Institusiisme and Constructivism, that we can understand and comprehend the rise of China in the international system.
