In conclusion, indifference and apathy are apt description of the attitude towards politics among the current generation of youths in China. Chinese youths are apathetic and indifferent towards politics due to their reluctance to change the status quo because of their historical baggage and increasing economic needs. But I personally believe that apathy is the most apt description of Chinese youths today. Whether they know little about politics or not, they know that there is nothing they can do to challenge the power of the almighty Communist Party. However, ignorance is not an apt description of the Chinese youths as they do know about the political matters in the country, except that they are unable to express their political views due to the insurmountable political censorship.
