A lot of women wear makeup to look and appear younger. Sometimes women who put makeup on still look older and they are ways you can use makeup to look younger. In this article by Megan, Cahn she explains many ways as what us women can do to our face with makeup to look younger. I assert that this article is very useful with enough information to explain why women wear makeup to look younger. Women wear makeup to look younger because when their older they start to age more in their face. The author indicates that in order for you to look younger and when you are applying foundation to your face most women make their face way to light or way too dark. To get the right color, you are looking for, when testing out a foundation don’t blend it in too much. Just take the foundation onto your face from the top of your cheekbone to the bottom of your jawline and try to not go lighter or darker than your actual skin. Many women wear makeup to look younger because when you are older some women not all have no eyebrows, you start to get wrinkles and your eyelashes aren’t there anymore.

In conclusion women wear makeup to cover up bruises from being abused while they are in a relationship and it’s sad. There’s a lot of pressure put on survivors of domestic violence once the abuse has been revealed, and not much understood. Concealer plays two roles into both stories. Let’s face it, you would be scared to, or scared to talk to us if we were visible. People get preachy and people see us differently. As the author states in this article Women wear makeup to cover up bruises because they don’t want to deal with people comments and they also don’t know how to walk away from an abusive relationship. 52 concealers are purchased in drug stores every minute in the united states. I know this sad but I can agree with this argument. I just got out of a relationship that I have been in for 3 years and it was a very abusive relationship. I once gotten a black eye and that was the last straw. I had to wear tons of concealer, foundation and eye shadow and mascara to try and cover it up.
