for people with low income to attend college without coming out with a huge debt that would just sink them deeper into poverty and keep the cycle going.
America is one of the richest countries with industries and agriculture in the world; however, it so shameful to know that 45 million people of its citizens suffer the adverse effects of poverty. Poverty is lack of shelter; it is being sick and not being able to see a doctor. Poverty is not having access to education, jobs and is fear from the future; it is living one day at a time. In five words poverty can be best summarized: a situation people want to escape. Its causes are well known: economic distress, dissolution of family structure, unequal opportunities and discrimination, and the lack of affordable education. All of these root causes must be solved to restore to the less unfortunate a decent life that everybody deserves. All it needs is strong determination and external help to break the vicious cycle of poverty.
