DISCUSSION
Assessment is a kind of "action research'... to inform local practice." A process of seeking "the best available indicators" to see if goals are being met. Includes fields-specific and professional judgments about learning outcomes which are used to "inform departmental and institutional decisions." (John Wiley & Sons, 2004)
The subject Literature and Language Assessment requires the researchers to collect information making judgment about a language learner's knowledge of a language and ability to use it. The researchers of the study gathered sample quizzes in English 7 from a secondary school particular in Grade 7 students to make an evaluation of the gathered data.
Table 1 shows the numbers of the sample quizzes gathered including on what quarter does each quiz under, the number of items, and the type of question used. The researchers utilized a table to show the salient features of the quizzes all in one.
