The last but not the least, geography is that the study of Earth’s surface, climate, continents, countries, people, etc. It also a concern in the globalization for firms that confronts every marketer but that receives scant attention. Altitude, humidity, and temperature are climatic features that affect the uses and functions of products and equipment. Products that preform well and satisfied customers in temperate zones may deteriorate rapidly or require special cooling or lubrication to function adequately in tropical zones. For instance, manufacturers found that construction equipment used in the US requires extensive modifications to cope with the intense heat and dust of desert. By the way, mountains, oceans, jungles and other geographical features can pose serious impediments to economic growth and trade. For example, mountain, this natural barrier has precluded the establishment of commercial routes between the Pacific and Atlantic coasts. Geographic hurdles have a direct effect on a country’s economy, markets and the related activities of communication and distribution in China, Russia and Canada as well. All industries seek opportunities and the challenges of the global marketplace, they should overcome such barriers.

In conclusion, reasons why the globalization process concern for industries are not just political or legal issue, level of technology and geographical barriers but also cultural forces, competitive forces and structure of distribution, etc. However, we cannot deny that those forces drive the globalization to the concern for industries. They voiced that the globalization is a combination of challenges and all industries cannot gain achievement and profits form it easily as they imagine.
