I agree with this as decision making is an integral activity of the organisation and should always be carried out by the top level management to ensure a smoother decision making process.
Scalar Chain:
This principle states that there should be a clear line in the area of authority from top to bottom and all managers at all levels.
I do not agree with this principle because even the bottom level employees must be given opportunity for provide his inputs and interact with the top level regarding any valuable suggestions.
Order:
According to Fayol the employees in an organization must have the right resources at their disposal so that they can function properly in an organization.
I agree with this principle as the employees must be provided with all the resources required for the work and a safe working environment so that she/he can perform to the best of their abilities.
Equity:
According to Henri Fayol, employees must be treated kindly and equally.
I agree with this as it helps in smooth functioning of the organisation and does not create a bias environment in the organisation.
Stability of Tenure of Personnel:
This principle states that the employee must be provided with job security.
I do not agree with this as each employee looks to grow and shift jobs and the company also can acquire new talent for better productivity and creativity.
Initiative:
Henri Fayol argued that with this management principle employees should be allowed to express new ideas. This encourages interest and involvement and creates added value for the company.
I agree with this principle as the employees must be given opportunities to express their ideas for the benefit of the organisation. The employee also gets a level of satisfaction by doing so.
Esprit de Corpus:
‘Esprit de corps’stands for striving for the involvement and unity of the employees.
I agree with this principle because the employees of an organisation must be united and have trust on each other to ensure a harmonious functioning of the organisation.
