Success in organization first comes with the people in every department and through their thorough efforts and commitment with one another thus the value of “bayanihan” or teamwork takes place. This value also promotes “pakikisama” or camaraderie. Being in a diverse organization, working with different persons having different personalities, attitudes, perspective and characteristics, an employee should be flexible, open, understanding and adaptive with its teammates. Working in a diverse environment also promotes a continuous learning, innovation and discovery of one self, it brings out the best in an employee. It also promotes morale in an employee by providing responsibility in decision making.

One value that also describes us, Filipinos are being hardworking or having an industrious attitude. This attitude doesn’t only provide success in business but with the employee itself. This value shows how committed an employee to an organization because of its goal and dreams.

Another value that is significant with business success is integrity. It is the ability to do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do therefore, it’s a choice. It is the one’s ability to be honest and act consistently in whatever things you are doing. This value is every fundamental in one’s self as every employer seeks employees with such value. Integrity in business is very important as it follows with trust and reputation. Showing integrity in the way you work will reward an employee with company’s trust and a good reputation.

Filipino employees portray many good values that are essential in the success of business. These values bring out the best in every Filipinos and it makes us unique and different with other people.
