Last but not least, instead of using retirement saving, parents should plan earlier and invest in child education insurance. The child education policy is a life insurance product specially designed as a savings tool to provide an amount of money when your child reaches the age of entry into college. The funds can be utilized to pay for your child's higher education expenses (Insurance Info). Under this policy, children’s future life can be assured. There are various famous insurance companies in Malaysia that offer education policies to finance children’s higher education, such as AIA, Prudential, Allianz and so on (Shamasundari, 2014).
