Cinema Halls: IPL has also tied up with PVR cinemas to stream IPL matches and many public places. This has helped increase the viewership of IPL and enhance its image as a brand.

BCCI has imparted the consumers with IPL overdose such that every person will remember that IPL is happening in the country and everyone is following it.

A survey was conducted by by Abhinash Jena on December 2, 2013, the findings of the survey are listed below.

Promotion: It was found that 64% of the people remember watching the advertisements for IPL.

Glamour: In the survey 52% of the respondents say that they first remember the most attractive megastars and their glamour. 33% of the respondents say that they remember the wide variety of merchandise. About 8% of the respondents say that they remember the screening in theatres, malls and pubs and finally 7% of the respondents say that they remember only the online buzz

Perception: About 80% of the people felt their perception of IPL is good after the promotional campaign.

Merchandise: 65% of the people had brought IPL products after watching advertisement of IPL that they never watched before.

Communication: 52% of the respondents say that IPL has done a good job with marketing and advertising by creating ads with an emotional connect. About 33% of the respondents say that IPL has done a good job with marketing and advertising by creating ads that are informative. 8% of the respondents say that IPL has done a good job with marketing and advertising by creating ads that use good brand ambassadors. Finally 7% of the respondents say that IPL has done a good job with marketing and advertising by other concepts.
