- Significance of the Study:

The purpose of this study is to help other students and instructors in Chemical Laboratory. With this kind of innovation the researchers and the one who benefits can assure that it is a safe and comfortable laboratory due to the reason of it is a fire proof hollow-block based building. Durability is not the only advantages of this research; aside from it the mussel hollow blocks also has a low cost that can also help other people to use it in a practical way.

Hollow blocks are commonly known as a material that can assure a fire proof attribute but due to some casualties, acid rains greatly affects the attribute of a commercial hollow blocks. Mussel shells have a special component which can withstand greater times as a commercial hollow blocks can. It can also withstand a tremendous amount of pressure that can also help for the safety of the laboratory building.

The researchers might recommend this kind of material to be used in other types of infrastructure that needs to be strengthened. Commercial hollow blocks might be neglected because of the practicality of this material. As of today, the researchers can assure that there is lots of availability when it comes to mussel shells because mussel shells are just off the shore and people are ignoring the importance of it.
