FRIENDLINESS:

Microsoft Project is as simple as using the same platform of Microsoft office over the years now. As it’s been introduced since years, both software packages are more familiar and easy to use comparatively with others.

Primavera is not that user friendly as compared to Microsoft Project so that is the reason they have added some new features like tabled groups, floating windows etc. to change its image over the years.

Celoxis can be considered for being the user-friendly software compared to Primavera.

Rationalplan’s ability to view and manage multiple projects, its straight forward method of setting up tasks, and the ease-of-use in adjusting and making changes to new or existing projects were just a few of the decision points for the user.

GRAPHICS:

Microsoft project is such a software which interface gives detail information and better understanding of the results.

Primavera is a software whose results are presentable and can be transferred to other software for better presentation.

Celoxis is a browser-based project management software which gives Normal interface compared to others.

Rationalplan is designed as an best alternative to Microsoft Project with some extra features like multi-project management which gives the same feeling of the Microsoft.

OPERATING SYSTEMS:

Microsoft Project uses Windows.

Primavera used Windows as Microsoft Project but also Mac and Linux.

Celoxis uses operating systems as same as the software Primavera.

Rationalplan also uses Windows, Mac and Linux [6].

CONCLUSION:

Any of the differentiation between the Software packages talked about is this Literature review has the simple and sole purpose to collect data and give outputs for an easy view for Future. Managing estimation, estimating cost, planning control and cost control and budget management can be determined only by the Advancing and sophistication of the software.
